  • Blowing Phoenician glass is a tradition passed down, often within families, with secret recipes that are held tight. Skilled artisans smash recycled bottles into pieces, melt them in high-temperature ovens then roll and blow these sculptural carafes. Each one of these is unique and so highly prized in the West Bank, that they are often reserved as wedding gifts.

  • Why you'll love it: Established in 1890, Hebron Glass is a family business where some 60 artisans, women, and men earn excellent income and benefit from safe working environments. The group aims to build lasting relationships with fair trade associations and provide artisans with orders throughout the year.

  • Materials: Phoenician glass

  • Dimensions: 4"D x 11"H
